My Role

While at Activision, I’ve performed quality assurance and playtesting for 4 Call of Duty titles. Over the course of my time there I’ve performed general quality insurance. This included daily regression tests through each game’s campaign and Cold Wars’ zombies mode. Stress testing, and playtesting, primarily for large player count modes and Warzone. Providing both objective and subjective feedback for the game regularly. Along with leading teams to do the same.


Notes

I’ve been an employee for the Activision since June of 2019, and in that time I’ve built up a lot of experience, and quickly becoming one of the top testers at the company. From effectively communicating issues, to optimizing processes such as feeding to get players to a certain level. To the point, I’ve led teams on missions to research, write and verify issues. However, the most important lesson I've learned here is that even small voices matter. As cheesy as that sounds it’s been true for me, talking to developers during and after playtests and getting features changed or added the next day.
